News Flow Science, Inc. announced the formation of Flow Science Deutschland GmbH to be a further extension of its distribution channel.

The new company is being formed in partnership with key personnel from its former distributor, CFD Consultants GmbH.

News The OpenFOAM Foundation are pleased to announce the release of version 2.1.1 of the OpenFOAM open source CFD toolbox.

Version 2.1.1 consolidates the major version 2.1.0 release through a large number of bug fixes and code improvements, included in over 200 code commits and 700 file changes.

News Mentor Graphics Corporation announced the availability of its FloEFD™ v11.3 Concurrent Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology, the industry’s fully embedded solution for PTC’s Creo Parametric, Creo Elements/Pro, and Pro/ENGINEER® Wildfire® design software.

Unlike other CFD software, Mentor Graphics® FloEFD for Creo works directly with native PTC product geometry to keep pace with ongoing design changes. Since designers are using the same geometry and a common user interface for CAD and analysis, FloEFD for Creo allows users to maintain a single set of data across the entire project design flow.
