News CEI, Inc. and Flow Science, Inc., both leading providers of computational fluid dynamics solutions, announced today that the two have partnered to embed the latest version of CEI’s EnSight CFD 3D visualization software directly into Flow Science’s FLOW-3D CFD modeling and analysis suite, integrating advanced post-processing and volume rendering animation directly into the FLOW-3D graphical user interface.

Announcements ERCOFTAC will host Uncertainty Management and Quantification in Industrial Analysis & Design in Paris, France on 15-16 May 2012.

Uncertainty quantification is a new paradigm in industrial analysis and design as it aims at taking into account the presence of numerous uncertainties affecting the behavior of physical systems. Dominating uncertainties can be either be operational (such as boundary conditions) and/or geometrical resulting from unknown properties, such as tip clearances of rotating compressor blades or from manufacturing tolerances.

News Flow Science has entered into a collaboration with Sigma Technology (Moscow, Russia), developer of the high-efficiency, multi-dimensional nonlinear optimization software known as IOSO.

Sigma recently released IOSO 2.04, which has direct integration to FLOW-3D.
