News ANSYS released version 5.1 of FLUENT for CATIA V5, which brings leading flow modeling technology within the V5 PLM environment.

FLUENT for CATIA V5 5.1 brings several meshing, workflow and post-processing enhancements to engineers working in the CATIA design environment; and aligns with the ANSYS vision of Simulation Driven Product Development (SDPD). These enhancements allow more options in creating meshes, allow faster solutions with smaller files and rapid post-processing of large cases.

News Pointwise announces the latest release of its Pointwise computational fluid dynamics (CFD) meshing software with a wide ranging set of new tools.

The surface meshing formulation of the T-Rex (anisotropic tetrahedral extrusion) hybrid meshing algorithm first developed for Pointwise’s Gridgen software now is available in Pointwise.
