Kodak planned to make inroads in the business by using premium pigment-based inks to provide photo prints with vivid colors that last a lifetime and substantially reduce ink costs by incorporating the printhead into the printer rather than coupling it to the replacement ink cartridge.

Business: Concepts NREC Collaborates with Sigma Technology of Moscow

News Concepts NREC, a world leader in turbomachinery design and development, engineering, design/analysis and manufacturing, software today announced it has entered into a collaborative agreement with Sigma Technology, international provider of the indirect optimization method based on self-organization (IOSO) technology, to jointly develop an interface between the two companies' software products for turbomachinery applications.

Announcements Newmerical will present a course on the Effective Use of CFD for In-Flight Icing Certification on April 13 to 17, 2009 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, USA.

Aircraft, Rotorcraft, Jet Engines and UAVs flying through icing clouds encounter the problem of ice formation on critical surfaces, on nacelles, in engines and on appendages (probes/detectors/antennae/optronics). This can jeopardize flight by altering aerodynamic performance and reducing handling qualities.
