News Zeus Numerix rolls out the third variant of its Customized Package for aerodynamic calculations on missiles & rockets.

A product from its Center of Excellence (CoE) for Customization, the software can be used to rapidly ascertain impact of design changes for missile configurations.

Events: Flow Transition and Turbulence Short Course

Announcements The Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas at Arlington will host a short course on Flow Transition and Turbulence - Physical Nature and High Order Direct Numerical Simulation on May 11-15, 2009.

The course's Principal Lecturer will be Yury S. Kachanov, PhD, of the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Prof. Kachanov discovered the C-type flow transition by experiment and is a worldwide recognized authority on flow transition and turbulence.

News Computational Engineering International (CEI) announced today that EnSight 9, the latest version of the company’s extreme visualization software, is now available.

EnSight 9 includes several new improvements to the powerful visualization product including: easier to use interface with a gradual learning curve dramatically cutting user time to reach common features; greater use of Python for advanced, developer-oriented customers; and added support for imported CAD files.
