News Blue Ridge Numerics, Inc., a global innovator of Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer Simulation software, today announced that it has been chosen as a Preferred Industry Partner by Autodesk, Inc., the leader in 2D and 3D design software for the manufacturing, building and construction, and media and entertainment markets.

Blue Ridge Numerics has enjoyed a longstanding partnership with Autodesk in both the industrial and educational markets. In 2002 the company launched CFdesign for Inventor, the first CFD software to use native Autodesk Inventor assemblies for associative design studies.

Announcements An Introductory Course on OpenFOAM will be held June 3-4, 2008 at the Chalmers Conference Center, Gothenburg, Sweden in conjunction with SIMDI08.

This tutorial is intended for first time users of OpenFOAM and will include an hands-on tutorial of the basic OpenFOAM solver.

Announcements NAFEMS, The International Association for the Engineering Analysis Community, has confirmed an exciting agenda for its 2008 UK Conference, to be held in Cheltenham on June 10th-11th 2008.

NAFEMS is an independent not-for-profit body with the sole aim of promoting the effective use of engineering simulation methods such as finite element analysis, multibody system dynamics and computational fluid dynamics.
