syguy writes: A survey performed by the Institute of Physics voted Maxwell’s equations and Euler’s identity the greatest equations of all time. I guarantee if you posed the same question to mechanical engineer’s the Navier-Stokes equations would figure near the top, probably second to Newton’s F = ma.

NAFEMS, The International Association for the Engineering Analysis Community, has announced the preliminary agenda for its 11th International Congress to be held in Vancouver, Canada, on May 22nd-25th, 2007. With as many as four parallel sessions running over three days, the Congress is sure to provide great benefit to all those involved in simulation, FEA, CFD, MBS and CAD/CAM.
The Congress will bring together world leading industrial practitioners, consultancies, academic researchers and software developers with a common interest in engineering analysis. ABAQUS/SIMULA are Principal Sponsors of the 2007 Congress, and the AIAA are co-sponsors.
