This latest release of CD-adapco’s CFD code, is packed with new features aimed directly at the engine-modeling world, including Extended Coherent Flame Model (ECFM) combustion models.

FloWizard is a rapid flow modeling CFD tool, meaning it is designed from top to bottom for obtaining flow solutions in an expedient fashion. A new design oriented interface and many automated features, such as fully automated mesh generation, equate to a straight forward and simple to use CFD tool.

This webinar will inform the audience about the core capabilities of Fluent’s virtual fluids laboratory, FlowLab. Case studies will be reviewed to highlight how this student-friendly CFD tool has been used at the University of Iowa, at Penn State University, and by other North American universities.

TURBOdesign-2 is an Aerodynamic design code for application to turbomachinery blades; the software is based on a 3D viscous transonic inverse design method. TURBOdesign-2 has been developed mainly for the design of turbomachinery components such as transonic fans where shock and boundary layer interaction effects are significant.
