Fluent Inc., the world leader in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and services, has been chosen to participate in the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) latest group of clean coal research projects.
These projects support the goal of developing a zero emissions coal-fired power plant, along with related policy initiatives in energy, climate, and hydrogen, including the FutureGen zero-emissions power plant of the future.
On March 16, 2005, U.S. Secretary of Energy, Samuel Bodman, announced the Fluent award as part of a portfolio of $62.4 million for 32 clean coal research projects.
