EnSight 8 makes it possible to visualize such difficult-to-depict phenomena as:

  • Tire hydroplaning
  • Airbag deployment
  • Fuel tank sloshing and filling
  • Thermal stress

To reserve a 20-minute appointment with CEI at booth #1814, call Cramblitt & Company at 919-481-4599, or fax us at 919-481-4639.

How to Import GTM file in CFX 5.7
Posted Tue March 29, 2005 @05:26PM
Print version Email story Tweet story
Help Desk musallba writes "I am using CFX program version 5.7,and I need to clarify the required steps for importing a geometry file (created through DesignModeler Model in ANSYS Workbench 8.1) into the CFX-Pre.

My company access to the ANSYS Workbench 8.1 does not have the option to utilize the CFX-Mesh in order to create the GTM files, however, we can create the geometry file in the DesignModeler and save as a gdb file. Then, from here, would anybody please advice me in how to proceed to CFX-Pre and import the created geometry file from ANSYS Workbench (DesignModeler or Project Page)."
