With more than 100 submissions and the only application involving computational fluid dynamics (CFD), the project won first prize in the "Alliance with an External Party" category as part of this year's BG Group Chief Executive Innovation Awards. The Awards are designed to recognize teams that demonstrate unique technology applications to realize material business benefits and provide a new platform to showcase examples of technological development.

The 2nd EACC will be held in Germany at the Congress Center of Frankfurt on June 29 - 30, 2005.

It promises to be the leading edge automotive CFD event in Europe in 2005 with the same mix of high quality technical and social program as that in Bingen in 2003.
