Fluent Hosts Virtual Seminar

Fluent Announces Partnership with Enductive Solutions

ANSYS FLUENT Fluent has announced that it has joined Enductive Solution's Solution Alliance Partnership program. Enductive Solutions provides custom-built CAE solutions to clients seeking to optimize their CAE process.

As a Solution Alliance Partner, Fluent will contribute its CFD technology and know-how to the Enductive products.

"We like to see our flow modeling tools being utilized in a comprehensive CAE context," says Fluent's Director of Third Party Relations, Barbara Hutchings. "Enductive creates solutions for its clients that integrates CFD and a whole variety of other analysis tools in an environment that makes it easy for engineers to succeed.
Enductive Solutions, a subsidiary of Aavid Thermal Technologies, recently entered a collaborative partnership with ANSYS to develop custom CAE applications.

CEI Opens New Office

Post Processing CEI, makers of the post-processing package EnSight, officially opened their new office in Apex, North Carolina with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The guests received demonstrations of EnSight running on sterographic displays, a Beowulf cluster, and a makeshift CAVE.

2001 ICEM CFD Automotive User's Conference

Grid Generation ICEM CFD Engineering will host a one-day conference highlighting the use of their meshing tools in the automotive industry. In addition to their general purpose meshing tools, the conference will highlight their application specific tools for in-cylinder combustion modeling, passenger cabin modeling, and HVAC duct and register modeling.

On the day following the conference, ICEM will offer two half-day short courses on their Tetra and Hexa products.
